Grand Rapids Christian Eagles put together another strong performance on the court, earning a 62-55 victory over the Rangers in a game that would go down to the wire. The Eagles continued development as a team shows as they learn to win close games.

The Eagles came out with focused, starting the game in good fashion scoring 15 points in the opening quarter while holding the Rangers to 11 points. Offensively, the Eagles looked comfortable and confident in that quarter. The Rangers would switch up their defense playing some zone in the 2nd quarter, which kept the Rangers close. The Eagles would still take a five point margin 30-25 into halftime.  

The Eagles and the Rangers would play fairly even basketball in the 3rd quarter. The Eagles would get a couple of stops on defense in the quarter to take a 42-36 point lead into the 4th quarter. The Rangers would make a push in the 4th quarter but the Eagles would withstand the run. The execution and making free throws down the stretch, would seal the deal for 62-58 victory over the Rangers.

Carl Thompson lead all scores with 25 points. Tyler Davis poured in 14 points while Connor Johnson would finish with 10 points.
