GR Christian defeated Ottawa Hills in the first game of a DH 17-1. The Eagles pounded ot 16 hits over 4 innings led by Jake Koetje and Sam DeYoung with 3 hits each. Koetje, Henry Streeter and DeYoung also had 3 RBI. Parker DeHoek and Breckton Meeuwsen each had 2 hits in the game.

Will Doezema picked up the win on the mound allowing no hits and no runs over 2 innings striking out 5. Ike Ondersma pitched 2 innings allowing 1 hit while striking out 4.

The Eagles played solid defense committing no errors in the game.
