The Eagles started off strong scoring in the top of the first but were unable to keep up with Northview's offense losing game one 2-15. The Eagles mound was shared by Abbe Diemer, Jaslene McWilliams, Ellie VandeGriend, and Rae Garcia. Diemer faced 11 batters, gave up 5 hits and had 1 walk. McWilliams faced 9 batters, gave up 4 hits and 2 walks. VandeGriend faced 7 batters, gave up 2 hits and 1 walk. Garcia faced 8 batters, gave up 3 hits, 2 walks, and had 2 strikeouts.
At the plate the Eagles tallied 4 hits with 2 runs. Abbe Diemer led the team with two hits, both doubles to right field that brought in 1 run. Each having on hit were Jaslene McWilliams and Greta Vance.
Game two vs Northview was postponed due to weather. The Eagles next game is against Convenant Christian this Saturday, April 22 at 9:00 AM at Covenant Christian High School.
