LOWELL HIGH SCHOOL: 18
The Eagles dropped game one 3-18 after 6 innings. Going into the top of the 5th it was 3-1, Lowell holding onto the lead. However, Lowell racked up 5 runs in the 5th and 10 runs in the 6th that the Eagles could not come back from. Abbe Diemer started things off on the mound. She lasted 4 innings, only giving up 6 hits and 5 earned runs. Rae Garcia came in for relief and lasted 1 inning. She gave up 3 hits, 6 earned runs. Lauren Holkeboer finished things off on the mound lasting 1 inning, giving up 3 hits, 3 earned runs, and had 1 strikeout.
At the plate the Eagles had 8 hits. Abbe Diemer and Rae Garcia led the offense both having 2 hits. Diemer had a single and a double, while Garcia had two singles. Each having one hit and an RBI were Lauren Holkeboer and Julia Geesin. Ellie VandeGriend and Greta Vance also each had one hit.
