The Eagles dropped game two to Byron Center 19-5. Abbe Diemer started things off on the mound. She pitched a total of 3.2 innings against the bulldogs. Diemer gave up 18 hits, 12 earned runs, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. Rae Garcia pitched 2.1 innings and gave up 2 hits, 1 earned run, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. Ellie VandeGriend also toed the mound for the Eagles. She gave up 3 hits and 2 earned runs.
At the plate the Eagles bats did some work and collected 11 hits. Lauren Holkeboer led the team with two hits, one single and a double that brought in 1 run. Each also having 2 hits were Jaslene McWilliams, Greta Vance, and Julia Geesin. Gabi Mora, Abbe Diemer, and Ellie VandeGriend each had 1 hit.
