The Eagles defeated Saranac High School on Tuesday night in their first of two conference matchups for the season. Grand Rapids Christian controlled play from the opening serve, winning in straight sets, 25-13, 25-12. Senior right side hitter Joey Pastoor led the Eagles with five kills, and senior middle-blocker Elijah Compagner added two kills, two blocks, and added a service ace as well.
