Grand Rapids Christian traveled to Holland Christian on Friday night for a non-conference tilt with Maroons. The Eagles held their own against the #2 ranked Division 2 team in the state. They started fast and took the opening set 25-23, before eventually succumbing to the high-powered Holland Christian offense by a final score of 1-3. Sophomore outside hitter Jack Scholten led the Eagles with 8 kills in the loss.
