The Eagles took on the Fighting Scots of Caledonia High School in their second GR South contest of the night on Wednesday. Grand Rapids Christian defeated Caledonia in straight sets, 25-10, 25-19, extending their winning streak to 7 games. Sophomores Jack Scholten and Alex Nelson led the Eagles with 7 and 6 kills, respectively. Libero Megi Shinetulga turned in a strong defensive performance, leading the team with 9 digs, and also added 3 service aces. The victory keeps Grand Rapids Christian perfect so far in GR South Conference play at 6-0, and pushes their overall season record to 16-5-1.
