The Eagles faced off last night against a strong Forest Hills Eastern squad in a competitive track and field meet. What began as a warm day in the upper 70s quickly turned into a brisk, windy evening in the 50s by the time the races began. Despite the challenging conditions, the Eagles demonstrated true grit as a team delivering numerous personal records.

While Forest Hills Eastern secured the overall win with a score of 90–47, several Eagles took home the win in their events:
 

• Peter Borst –  400m (54.76)
• Nasir Zimmerman –  300m Hurdles (42.13)
• Tony Phillips – Shot Put (43'4")
• Zach Hertemink –  Pole Vault (12'0")

The Eagles return to action this Saturday at the Relay Invitational hosted by East Grand Rapids High School.
